What we do

Donors’ Forum is comprised of leaders from different sectors of the nonprofit and philanthropy worlds. Each month – September through June – we interview a person with perspective and experience that we feel is of interest to our members. We gather to share insights and questions about best practices, innovative ways of working, and challenges in the field.

  • Mission

The mission of Donors’ Forum is to inspire stimulating and provocative discussions with philanthropists and nonprofit leaders relating to the roles of philanthropy and nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations in the United States and throughout the rest of the world.

  • Vision

The vision of Donors’ Forum is to help improve society through what has become commonly referred to as the Third Sector – the segment of our society that is made up of neither government (public) nor for-profit (business) concerns.   We feel that the philanthropic sector can become far more productive, reduce the frictional costs of raising funds and achieve more donor satisfaction.

  • Values

The values of Donors’ Forum are informative interviews, engaged listening, and respectful, interactive discussions.
